» how to make an ubuntu cd???

i ve downloaded ubuntu from www.ubuntu.com to create a bootable cd for ubuntu os then i tried to burn wat i have downloaded to a bootable cd the cd doesnt work correctly then tried to burn it as an iso cd the same problem exists wat shall i do??? now i have the complete files of ubuntu cd i downloaded from the net in wat way can i burn them to a cd so that it becomes an ubuntu os bootable disk??? thanks

use your burning software

use your burning software to "burn cd image" and choose the .iso file only . other files contains checksums that are used only to verify the integrity of the downloaded files, you can ignore them for the moment.
