It was worth it; EGLUG is now what I expect from a LUG.

The idea is fine, but the implementation isn't.

I never liked the idea; I only come here because all the power users are here

I don't believe EGLUG was anything other than a move for power by Alaa and uniball and whirlpool and youssef

the idea is fine no doubt, but the implementation is far from it, partially because the site is lacking in the arabization department which imo is the most vital job for any egyptian or arabic lug, this lacking is also due to the absence of a real wiki imho, working on these two would probably put the lug on the right track

lack of a real wiki is a problem yes, and off course using a non integrated wiki would have been another problem, I think by the next drupal release the real wiki problem would be resolved.

I agree on the localized content part but I've no idea what to do, obviously writing in arabic is not a fun task at all to most of our active members (including me), we keep waiting for others to come and write in the language but no one does.

any suggestions?

cheers, Alaa
