i read alaa's blog and i want to go on and do something, so i looked at the suggested projects and i think we can start a workshop on thin clients
a workshop is where we go and start the implementation no one will instruct nor give a session we will do it from scratch and go all the way through learning, implementing and tweaking
i suggest the goal of this workshop is to make a comprehensive howto document about thin clients aiming the regular user (not the techie) and have a working demo in the lab
who wants to join?
things to discuss:
- where will we hold the workshop? (i don\t know about elsakia but it will be a great place)
- as this is a workshop then we need a limited number of people
- what FOSS project will we use (all i know is LTSP ... other???)
- specifications (server power? numbert of clients?)
