Hi guys,

I want an editor that support arabic, and doesn't cause problems with mixed arabic-english text like "Distribution means in arabic توزيعة" doesn't convert it to "توزيعة Distribution means in arabic". I tried a lot of editors, and I found nothing support arabic like MS Word :(.

I use gedit.. however u mentioned MS Word which is much of a word processor more than a simple editor, and OpenOffice.org Write is just great :)

Thanks man. sure you are right MS Word more than a simple editor. I only mentioned the way that MS Word supporting arabic, and I want an editor that supports arabic like MS word.

ofcourse abiword can make the trick .. just define the paragraph that dominated by arabic text to be rtl and here is a snapshot from testing

Thanks a lot. I haired about abiword since I use windows, and I know It's a good editor. I'll try to do what you say, and see what will happen.
