i need to know some things a bout firewall like

how i can Configer drakfw ....

and how i can Open any Port like 22 for ssh ...

and how i can Cloes it....

u just run 

# drakfirewall

as root and then u don`t check everthing (no firewall) option so now u turn the firewall on and u will found under it some services that u wann the internet to connect to u y3ny el service that u want to runn and make ppl from the internet can connect to it . u check on the service that u want to allaw maslan ssh bas. and the rest is not checked . so all the ppl can get is ssh connection to ur box nothing eals . if u want to open a speacial port u click on advanced and then write the port no# and ur done . to close them just don`t check anything and keda thay are closed . and there is iptables and it`s font end shorewall but i don`t know any idea about how to config it . i hope that helped :)

Actually what drakfirewall configures is Shorewall.

when i type root@localhost root?# drakfirewall and allow some services Then OK ... i found this SCALAR(0x8c3215c) as: SCALAR(0x8c3215c)root@localhost root?#

... when i open to check it again find no thing changed

update your system first then try again, if the problem still persist we'll have to look deeper.

bas frankly I recommend you dump drakfirewall and learn to use shorewall directly, its very easy it took me 1 hour to do it.

How many network interfaces do you have ?
Do you want to open it for your local network only or to the internet?
