I would say Ubuntu

Hello my friend,

First of all by all means GO AHEAD! Don't worry about picking the distribution, just start with whatever you have in hand (if you already have CDs).

As for the choice, I would say go with Ubuntu for one main reason: Support & Popularity.

1) Support: Ubuntu forums are EXCELLENT. I've heard that most of the time you get replies within minutes of asking the question. They are very newbie-friendly there.

2) Popularity: For the last 6 months, Ubuntu has been the 2nd most popular distribution in the world, after PCLinuxOS. However, I don't think many ppl in Egypt are using PCLinuxOS though (correct me if I'm wrong) - but I know of hundreds of Ubuntu users in Egypt.

Lastly, there's no RIGHT or WRONG about picking a distro. It's just about which one suits you the best. BTW I am NOT using Ubuntu so I am not being biased at all.

I appreciate your

I appreciate your co-operation and fast reply, but where can i found full cds or download links of Linux?? please post url here.
