I believe a simple mail subscription can solve a big deal of these problem until we have better technics and more dedicated admins. this is how I knew about every spam!

I personally admit that I didn't dedicate enough time for eglug.org in the past year and I'm willing to delegate my responsibilities as a site admin to any of the senior members.

First, I apologize
First, I apologize for not following up the website lately.
Actually the website hasn't been followed by most admins and mods lately, myself included.
My own responsibilities was to administrate and secure the server that hosts the website, and site performance is included in this, though this seems to be running fine for most users, but I do know that it could be better.
Why I wasn't following it lately? let me be frank with everybody, it's hard to keep your contribution level while you don't feel it's actually helping anybody. EGLUG got a great history that was built over years, but not active right now, which makes anybody lazy following it up.
I'm willing to delegate my responsibilities to anyone who is willing to take them up. I'll be keeping everything running till someone shows up.

that's somewhat weird to me, a non-active community should be a motive by itself to maintain, espcially if it was of a great history to worry about like EGLUG.
