Job Opening - UNIX/LINUX hosting administrator

A large telecommunication provider running operations in Egypt is in need for candidates with the following skills:

- substantial experience with administration and configuration of UNIX/Linux

- knowledge of the following technologies is an asset: Citrix, Apache, Tomcat, BEA WebLogic Server, Websphere, Vmware

- basic knowledge in administration of Oracle databases

- good oral and written communication skills (French and English) (French is essential)

The candidate's responsibility will be: Provide IT service technical support and expertise including the following:

- deploy new services within the platform using best practices

- ensure that IT infrastructure changes are performed using change management tools and that processes are compliant with Service Level Agreement

- ensure that IT infrastructure incidents are handled within the Service Level Agreement

- involved in overall system tuning

- participating to the On Call operation

IMHO this is a good chance for someone who needs to gain experience and exposure in large MNC environments.
