A new startup company has several openings for our Cairo office. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Unix, Linux, Open source, distributed systems, web applications, security, virtualization and grid computing.

What we want to do:

Computing paradigms are shifting and we want to take center stage. We are focused on web applications, Security,grid and cloud computing, virtualization and data mining. Requirements:

• Solid unix and linux experience as a developer and power user.
• Proficient in at least a programming language and a scripting language. Our preference is C++/Ruby but other combinations will be considered.
• Experience with any offline data storage, like YAML, XML, MySQL, PostgreSQL,etc.
• Exposure to web technologies like HTML, Javascript, AJAX,etc.
• Excellent understanding of common algorithms for exampple sorting and searching.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in english.
• Acute learning skills.

What we offer:

Base salary of L.E 500/month for the first 3 months. Stock options and salary increase afterwards depending on performance. Great fun and energetic environment.
