Cable length
For those who are bringing UTP cables, kindly state the cable length in order to be able to plan the network well and see what more needs we might have in terms of cables.

Still as far as Music is concerned
IF that music thing is still scheduled for the Install Fest, I'm afraid I, too, will need someone to pick me up! I can see transport is becoming an issue. But I live at Heliopolis, with no car, and will have to bring over a music keyboard and good speakers besides the MIDI kit.
I'm going to be out of Cairo for most of the coming week (except Sun. and Mon.). Although, generally, I hate to be a burden on anyone, I'm not sure if and how I'll be able to manage without somebody's help.
Think again if we really need Music to be represented.

I'll get my PC with me (P4 2.4/256 Cach, 512 RAM, NVIDIA MX4000, LAN, about 38GB free disk space) with my 17" monitor and keyboard and mouse, besides another 15" monitor that i got. i'll come be my car if anybody needs a ride, but i'll come from alex :) i don't think that i'll be there 9am, i may be a little bit late.. may be 10 or 11.

Hi all, Diaa had suggested I should be there to help promote Linux as a music production environmnet. The discussion went on, and I was told that someone might be able to contact Roland (البيت الفنى) so as to supply us with a keyboard (also a promotion for them). Has anything trnaspired in this direction? Because, if not, I'd like to know, to bring my MIDI kit and small keyboard along (although it'll be a hassle, as I hanven't got a car).
