LBreakout 2

http://www.lgames.org

2.x

- Real nice graphics (SDL based game)

- Doesn't require too much resources

- REALLY ADDICTIVE!!!!

- Features alot of game sets (over 40), each having a huge number of levels

- Features a game editor which allows you to build your own custom levels and game sets

- Offers network, multiplayer, and co-operative game modes.

- Might not be appealing to hardcore gamers

A Real fun game, and is suitable for non-hardcore gamers like me.

LBreakOut 2 is an "Arkanoid"-style game (Remeber your ATARI consoles ;) ) where there is a horizontal rod, a ball, and a lot of bricks. The ball is thrown by the rod and crushes the bricks, and the player must not let the ball fall out of him until he crushes all the bricks. Crushing all the bricks causes the player to move to a new level.

It's the first game of its kind to offer a lively gaming experience.

4 stars

It's not just the kind of game a Linux geek/nerd will like. But everyone would like it (almost).
