I work against the US occupation in Iraq and in defence of the Iraqi people, its resistance and its sovereignty. I am a member of the BRussells Tribunal (www.brusselstribunal.org) and am author, with Abdul Ilah Albayaty and Hana Al Bayaty, of the most comprehensive analysis written to date on US genocide in Iraq.

I am building a new initiative now aimed at bringing the charge of genocide in Iraq against the United States, its leaders and allies, in a court of universal jurisdiction. This initiative is not only political; it is serious in its attempt to build towards legal action, and will gather the full force of all the intellectual, legal and activist momentum built up by the BRussells Tribunal.

The initiative website: A call for expert volunteers

The basis of the site I'm now building is Drupal. But I am not a developer. Given the nature of the subject of this iniiative, and the seriousness with which it has to be taken to gain momentum, I must present the initiative publicly as in a very professional form. I need expert input.

I need: Drupal developers, Drupal themers, php experts, and Java developers.

This is an urgent call for assistance.

The urgency has three aspects: 1) the genocide is ongoing; 2) legal developments in Spain, and also in the US itself, have opened a window of opportunity that must be taken advantage of; 3) in June the local puppet forces of the occupation (Maliki etc) will sign a "permanent agreement" institutionalizing the occupation for nine more years. An initiative launched to bring legal action on the international crime of genocide makes this kind of arrangement more difficult for the US-paid puppets in the Green Zone.

The International Initiative to Prosecute US Genocide in Iraq, like the BRussells Tribunal, will run on a zero budget and represent no political party. I appeal for your volunteer assistance and would welcome it wholeheartedly.

انا اعمل ضد الإحتلال الأمريكي للعراق ودفاعاً عن الشعب العراقي و مقاومته الباسلة. انا عضو في هيئة محكمة بروكسل الدولية (www.brusselstribunal.org) وكتبت بالمشاركة مع عبد الإله البياتي وهناء البياتي أكثر التحليلات شمولاً فيما يتعلق بجرائم الإبادة الجماعية في العراق.

أنا أعمل الان علي بناء مبادرة دولية لمحاكمة الولايات المتحدة الأميريكية, قادتها وحلفائها في العراق بتهمة ممارسة أعمال التطهير العرقي أمام إحدي محاكم الإختصاص الدولي. هذه المبادرة ليست سياسية فقط , إنها حركة جادة في محاولتها إتخاذ إجراءات قانونية تجاه هذه الجرائم وسوف تجمع كل القوي من أفراد و نشطاء قانونيين ممن يعملون مع هيئة محكمة بروكسل الدولية.

ولكنني لست مطوراً محترفاً. بالأخذ في الإعتبار طبيعة هذه الحركة والجدية التي يجب التعامل معها بها حتي تحصل علي الدعم المطلوب يجب علي أن اقدم هذه الحركة للعالم بشكل إحترافي - عن طريق تصميم لائق للموقع- ولذا فأنا في حاجة لمساعدة من محترفين.

وأسباب هذه العجلة تتلخص في : أ) المذابح العرقية مستمرة الان ب) التطورات القضائية في اسبانيا والولايات المتحدة نفسها فتحت لنا الباب لفرصة لا بد من انتهازها الان وفوراً ج) في شهر يونيو من هذا العام ستقوم الحكومة العراقية المصطنعة والموالية للولايات المتحدة (المالكي ومن معه) بتوقيع إتفاق دائم يسمح ببقاء قوات الإحتلال لمدة تسعة أعوام كاملة. لذلك فإن التحرك بسرعة لإتخاذ إجراءات قانونية ضد جرائم التطهير العرقي سيجعل من توقيع مثل هذا الإتفاق أمراً صعبا بالنسبة للعرائس المتحركة الموالية للولايات المتحدة في المنطقة الخضراء ببغداد.

الحركة الدولية لمحاكمة الولايات المتحدة عن جرائم التطهير العرقي في العراق - مثلها مثل هيئة محكمة بروكسل الدولية- ستعمل بدون ميزانية مالية - أي أن العمل سيكون من قبل متطوعين فقط- ولن تمثل الحركة اي من الإتجاهات أو الأحزاب السياسية لا محلياً ولا دولياً.
