Salamat Everyone, I know this an idiotic question but don't blame me :). I have a NetoDragon modem (SmartLink chipset). To make the modem work a module has to be loaded (slamr), and a daemon (slmodemd). Now I want to know how can I run the modules on startup, and I also need to know how to run the daemon on startup.

Thanks,

Read the docs that come with the driver tarball.

Anyway maybe your distro has /etc/rc.local or something where you can add custom startup stuff. If you give more detail we can help you.

I wish I could install phaeronix on my patients.
