Assalam Alikum,

I have been using Kedit for a while, loving the feature of creating a backup file for each file I change. But, I find Kwrite better than Kedit in some features (I use fortran codes and it is find in displaying them) but when I change something, it does not make a backup of the old file, as I am used to in kedit. How may I activate this feature in Kwrite?

Personally I prefer kate (for the tabs and stuff, the IDEAL mode owns).

To check for more syntax files go to : settings -> configure -> editor -> highlighting -> download
