I am having a small problem here. I have d/led and installed the mplayer package and it's codecs correctly. I have installed the skin in the folder /usr/local/share/mplayer/Skin/default/skin/ and he fonts in the right folder too, /usr/local/share/mplayer/fonts/ and I can't get it working, here is the output of gmplayer

What does it mean? I am having a feeling that it is a font problem, am I right?

Perhaps I'm blind but I see nothing indicating a problem, mplayer should work without fonts even
What makes you think a problem exists?
All you've said is that a problem allegedly exists but you haven't described it or its symptoms
does mplayer start at all?
I used to be indecisive .. but now I'm not so sure

Thanks for the comments, I could use mplayer (without a gui) and I could play my files. So, I think it is related to the gui now. How may I use a gui for mplayer? I have configured it with the gui option by the way.

on FC3 u just gmplayer check ur e-mail

the skin is instaled in the directory
/usr/local/share/mplayer/Skin/default/ , in this directory copy all imagenes that you downloaded and the text file "skin".

if this works fine then it may be the skin or the font. if not it may be something related to Mplayer the backend of gmplayer.
the log of mplayer or gmplayer is extended more than the log u have posted :) and there is no error.
you do not have to install the fonts and skins manually,there is packages can do it for you .
