under construction articles?
Hi all, As I was browsing the site after the some organization that bahaa did, I tool a look at our 'articles under construction' section.. there are lots of useful things, and some of them is almost obsolete.. anyway most of them were not touched for years.
I guess it will be a really good idea if we starts evolving them and pushing them into the articles section either by completing the article or updating it or even mark it as obsolete and we won't work in it more.. I'll start by myself when I have time but I thought of sharing the idea.

May be you can collect a team to do such huge task, if succeed you may then extend the task to include another area to organize. I suggest you to make a task table with list of documents to review, next action to be taken (Mark to be moved to Articles section; Mark to be archived/deleted; Mark as obsolete; Need furthur effort - Someday) and who will do the review (Delegation).
If you accept this process, I'm into your team.

well, I totally agree that this needs a team to handle, and the list of tasks will be great.. but I want the editing of articles to be everyone's responsibility.. not a certain team that should handle.
Team can organize, help in taking decisions of old articles retention and so, but not the job itself. If that's what you mean then let's start it :)

Yes, sure, the team is to organize not to edit the articles. However, one of the team responsibilities is to make an action list for authors to complete their articles.
Yalla, lets start... we need to: 1. Ask for volunteers 2. And, in the main while, prepare a list of articles from the 'under contraction' list. 3. Make a forum topic or whatever space on EGLUG to communicate and follow-up, or would u like take it off (on emails masalan)?

1. we need to start asking for volunteers. Actually the main creator of the article will be the best one to complete it if he is still active and willing to help. Anyway anyone can volunteer in anything that he likes.
2. I guess a wiki page will be a very good point to communicate and follow up.. I don't like off eglug.org idea as i keeping things open will get you more suggestions (and more volunteers).
