hi guys is there a way of getting the system hardware information? from the command line (init 3)

To get PCI info:-

cat /proc/pci

For cpu info:-

cat /proc/cpinfo

For Memory :-

cat /proc/meminfo

Thos what i know u can check /proc for more info ,,, i wish i helped

for instance you can check

  • memory usage with free
  • pci devices with lspci or on mandrake the even better lspcidrake
