after the very successful case study done by the Alex team, its time to start thinking of the next one.

I have a good candidate for the next study, in on of our gathering we where visted by Alejandro, Alejandro is a GNU/Linux nomad from peru, he travels from country to country looking for interesting and meaningful work to do.

he now works in Egypt in a project done by the Italian Cooperation Poverty Alevation Program to build a FOSS micro credit tracking and management tool, the software which is based on the horde framework will be deployed in around 25 centers in 3 governerates and tracks millions of dollars.

it would be nice is someone visited the PAP office to interview the hackers working there, their Egyptian and Italian management that was involved in the decision to go FOSS (to use, develop and publish FOSS) and to look at the system and cover it.

I suggest we follow the Alex format, a 3 person team with a digital camera and notetaking equipment (dead tree techonology is OK :-)

I also suggest that the team be

  1. Admins
  2. Soppy_Boy
  3. Seek_The_Reality

I'll send the three private messages to pressure them (long live democracy).

peace guys god be with you :) i guess and wish that interview will be more intersting and successful than alex interview inshallah :) some tips:

  1. try to meet few days befour the interview date and arang the questions ( we did that online we didn`t have much time in real some busy stuff :()
  2. only one guy keep in contact with Mr. Alejandro to arang the date ( tab3an u know that ;) )
  3. don`t late like what happen with us :(
  4. arange good questions and sure screenshots for the apps and do alot of good photo about the persones and the place ( we wasn`t good in that part )
  5. and sure as alaa said story is better way and u can check teh questions and the tips alaa gave us @ 1st study case question post

but we all learning from our mistakes and i just want to say our mistakes so u don`t fall in the same mistakes ( no offence guys ) just trying to help.
