I think many people hate CAPTCHA as me :),if we can block IP's to do more operations & put time between operation and other i think spammers will hate our site i am not dev but see some site do that

I agree with CAPTCHA, only when registering,, and it doesn't have to be a hard unreadable one,, full of ,/.{}\][**&*Y&, noly a dotted one or an italic one will be good

I'd say we write a "report spam" drupal module. It adds a link beside each node and people can use it to report spam. Maybe the module can unpublish the node and then the admin o mod can verify ?

I think unpublishing things by just pressing a botton can be abused by the cool trolls we have in the lug :)
may be something like that is used to report a spammer, not unpublish node or the comment.
captcha will greatly reduce the electronic spammers, and then we can use the reporting thing to make the moderators unpublish reported nodes/comments

Someone abusing it should be banned from using it.
The problem is: If the admins/mods don't check the recent comments and erase spam then I doubt spamming them with emails saying spam is here will lead to nothing also.

This a common thing here and it happen all the time :-). I think we should implement CAPTCHA in the account registration node. I guess this IRUWmOnEYVwZ is another electronic spammer ;).
