here is the list of Senior Users who want to become admins

If u want to add your name to the list of candidates, please edit this page.

NOTE: You have to be a senior user or moderator or a ex-administrator to run

we have 43 seniors (mods and admins are still seniors), this means quorum is 22 votes and the number of admins needed is still 4.

last time we used a simple system, if three nights passed without any changes in the list of candidates it is considered final and elections start.

I suggest we use the same method this time, can someone please send an email to all seniors informing them that they can run?

Nop, We need to define a period, Otherwise one can keep adding his name and then removing it every night.

Also from the MCAP: Candidates shall present their technical capabilities in web development and administration, but otherwise are not allowed to campaign.

What do you all think ??

we did this before and it worked, no need to imagine silly senarios, we can all assume our seniors are reasonable people.

besides, it would be easy to detect such abuse.

maybe it is better to wait after the list is fixed and then ask the candidates to write a paragraph about their technical abilities.

anyway if they want to start than it's up to them really.

when we started we spared alot of time for eglug.

frankly I don't believe the 5 admins where all too busy at the same time, so the biggest defence against the how much time thing is to pick an admin team that will work together as a team, not let two handle all the work.
