I am using Mandreke 10.02 2005 I do not know if the lines script which I wrote in the Terminal Program were correct or I spoiled something .. there is a way to cancel the previous script which I put and to use the issue which you gave to me ... i recommend you to use java version 1.4.2 not 5

i dont know what you want this script as Mohamed Samir told you, it will do everything

also if you follow the installation guide it will be nice

i think in Mandrake just double click will install it :)

Thanks Ahmed for your prompt reply and please note that I was browsing a web page related with my job and there was a flash demo which asked for Java update ... I did have the Java file but I could not install it . When I make a Double click on the file there is a windows pop up including the a.m. instructions lines which I wrote in the Terminal program window file but nothing happened ... also I did submit the installation instruction which Mohamed gave it to me but I got a message ... " no such folder or filname " ( pls note that the said folder is in ** file:/home/bluebird/My Downloads) but the termail could not access it.

also there is another problem which is ... I could not access the Kopete .. when it goes to connect the MSN massenger ... always return back asking about the correct Password although I am sure it is correct .... for the yahoo account gives me that it could not access the yahoo massenger .. One time it asked me to remove the Media Manager and re-install it but I think if I do so ... I will be in need for the CD of Mandarke which I do not have ... Hope to get some help Regards

and if you need it for mozilla or firefox you should link a .so file i don't remember its name to mozilla directory or ~/.mozilla/plugins but i cann't remember its name, let me see and tell you.

Dear Mohamed Please be informed that I went to FSF Site where I found a new updates for Mandarke ... I made most of them but in one of the updates the system asked for CD 3 which I do not have ... Then I log off the system (Restart) to avoid this point but the KDE interface stopped completly ... I need help in getting Mandarke 10.2 CD's (It's OK to buy it) and fix my laptop .. Hope to hear from you soon.
