personal attacks is sort of hateful speech after all, my opinion is to allow swearing as long as it's not directed to anyone , like the the way it was used to describe the motorola modem in the blog

swearing should not be allowed for any reason we should be respectful also this LUG is a place for all people of ages and sex it wouldn't be nice for such words like the ones used in MadFarmAnimalz blog to be read by minors nor women

the thing is, if its hidden in blogs (blogs are not hidden at the moment, but the plan is to keep them burried, in order to read a blog you have to browse to the blog owners profile).

if someone seeks a blog themselves and find something they don't like they can stop reading and never get back to that blog again.

however, the problem is complicated when it comes to minors (I don't see what the women argument is about, either its ok or it isn't), parents of youger kids may object to them seeing the website, even if the profanity is burried deep which puts us at risk of loosing important members (the younger they're the more important IMO).

anyways its up to voting now, so make sure you vote there.
