How about making this thread for collecting the history of Unix and Linux history, I think this would be a great idea.
I mean in addition to the small pieces of history that any1 have read it in a book or a magazine, let's share more powerfull pieces of history.

anyway you can use this thread to post links to anything that describes and important part of the history (including history of important projects).

ya gama3a please read previous posts before posting (and try to check the links when they're posted).
this book is the same book I posted a link for (the RMS biography one), faifzilla.org is a place where corrections and additions to the FDLed book are corrected so its a more accurate copy.

www.tldp.org includes within its docs some linux history. rute.pdf includes some linux history as well.
