It just leads to a flame war with no wins. There will always be a jerk trying to justify that for example Israel are defending themselves from terrorism ( I couldn't believe myself when one was saying that the soldier(s) who killed Moh'd Eldurra did not mean to kill him and that it was Moh'd Eldurra who got in the way ) I stopped discussing these because they are plain pointless.

And dont forget that Media plays its role

I did try to go into such arguements before, it was about the 11th of September - shortly after the accident. Based on that experience I agree with MaherG... it always end up with some dumb-headed guy saying foolish words & causing a flame war.


My opinion: If you wanna defend your cause, and your english is good then post a long, elaborate reply, covering in detail all the points that they have mentioned.

End it up with an (implicit) conclusion that most of them are jerks (don't insult anyone) and that you wouldn't discuss a complex issue with such ignorant people who were blindfolded by the media of their countries, and that if they really care for the truth then they should take a look at other news channels/papers and listen to the second party.

Then finally, mention that this is your last reply to the thread & that you're not gonna waste your time on flame wars caused by racists or whatever - and (optional) if anyone wants to discuss it with you privately then he's welcome to message you on: foo@foo.com e-mail (but DON'T type ur everyday e-mail address !! you'll probably get bombed or spammed - whatever.)

I live among these people...and unfortunately...what we used to hear about them...(i.e. freedom of speech, democracy and so on so forth is all krape.... except when there is a political gain)

in general they try to put u framed.....most are not looking nor willing to look for the truth.......very vary minority of them do.

By the way.....this is Tanaca the most "multicultural friendly western country"
