I totally agree with sattia. I admit that I can't solve all the riddles. Everyone has a mental ability. I think that riddles give some brain practive for our rusty brains. Think a little bit everyone about those riddles.

I guess OneOfOne wants to say it is nice to have it but it seems that no new posts here except the riddels , so if it is going to be only riddles forum let us know ;)

How about posting Questions about Linux , making ppl do think and find solutions , will be fun and will also educate and help the goal of the forum and we would not be off the goals of the forum, just an idea!

let me redefine what i wanted to say (sorry i've been awake for a while and traveled twice)....
"don't post too many riddles" that's what i ment, it feels like spam...like when i look at the latest 10 posts on the front page, they're all almost riddles...

while I was posting riddles I was also answering problems

i can't say that i don't like those riddles but u can decrease the number of them per day to maslan 2 or don't pst a new one until the old one is solved

Well, I love what Sattia does. I like those riddles and I could solve them.
but I also agree that they should not be thrown all over the menu.
We can assign a thread for it, OK
You can make a section called, Riddles for fun, and post all these riddles in it.

What do you think, in that case, Sattia will have the place to make his riddles in, and I shall have the opportunity to solve them, knowing that they are all on the same place. One of the moderators can start doing it.

As a result, and in case you make such a section, Sattia please give us more than 6 riddles on one day.

first i don't flood the forums the way satia (and other people that post riddles) do.
2nd i provide important info, maybe it's not important for a debianer that would go "yeah yeah i have 10years old system and it works" but it's important for the rest of us that care about being up to date.

- i can not see any problem about Aljaber posts as it wasn't that much now from sattia

- i think 2 riddles every week will be great to keep the main purpose of the forum as mohamed say and i agree with him and to give us a chance to solve it because i was fighting with these riddles at the first and the second one but after that its looklike spam so i leave it all

- and frankly i like the linux questions and solving problems idea

the un expected thing was the rate , i think if it will be controled by answering

I guess the only problem is the riddles because of it is all going in so fast more than the other threads , so it is always on the front page as the latest 10 posts ... The point is that makes us miss ohter threads and other real questions.

For me I open the main page see the last 10 threads and go from there because I am not expecting I missed more than that. So by having all these riddles flying in , we oversee the other threads.

what about increasing the number or recent posts to 15 or 20? I promise not to fill this
