I want a package that can disconnect the modem when someone phones me while I'm online .. I'm using a NetoDragon v92 modem .. or a package that can make me recieve the calls while I'm on the net {I think this is possible with a v92 modem} :D

Did u mean that u need a package that tells u there is someone phoning u while ur on the net or disonnects u?

First of all up to my knowledge in order to get any signals from the Central Office (CO) while ur occupying the line u should subscribe with them for this kind of service. For example the Waiting service will give u a ring when someone calls while ur talking or dialing the Internet instead of giving them the normal busy tone and allowing u to switch among the two calls but not to conference them. This service is also configurable by either enabling or disabling it.

Second which is the most important here in ur case which makes me at a certain level of certainty that there is no such thing; ur a normal dialup and hence u cannot mix signals on ur line while ppp is running cuz this will disturbe it and will lead to disconnection in most cases so u cannot receive the call while staying online at the same time

sattia : u got me right .. u understood what i meant .. but I found a programe that can detect call waiting signal and drop ppp connection, so that incoming call can get through ... but this programe is in Deutsche so i cant understand its readme file or even install it .... but this means that there is such a thing that can disconnect me when some one calls me and I'm online ... any suggestions ya sattia ?:)

note however that it may not work here, V92 supports some advanced stuff but I doubt our telephone networks support it.

anyways it is obvious that no one here used a similar program so you'll have to find it yourself.
use freshmeat.net and google.com if it exists you'll find it there.

I'm sorry but I found that programe on freshmeat.net and i cant find the link again ... here is the prog in the attachment ... the file extension is tar.gz but i changed it to .zip beacause the website doesnt allow tar.gz ... so after downloading it plz change it to tar.gz ... I owe ya big one for this ya Safrout .. thx ya man;)
