I have finally finished it, it is available from http://www.maximumunix.org and I hope you guys can download it and test, and of course learn a little bit about IDS.
anyone who uses snort or heared about it, may find this program very cool and it really simplifies the job of browsing and reading your logs from Snort.
it runs on Linux and OpenBSD and is a QT based GUI.

I don't believe you, cause if you really hoped so, you would have tried to explain what snort is to wet our apetite....
