hi all,
have you ever watched CNN sport, they have "the play of the day" (i don't like CNN, but i like this section). that's is the best game today. what about making a "thread of the day", or say.. as a beginning: "the thread of the week". and put it in place like "active threads today"
this will concern the most useful, friendly, active, long, or whichever thread.
e.g. i suggest (i don't know if i'm imp. member or not ! ;) http://www.linux-egypt.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=585
that's a too friendly thread!

If you want this to happen people should start to rate threads. There are a ratings box on the bottom left, you can a sign a thread a rating from one star upt 5 or four. This way you can use the search feature of the forum for the latest 5 stars thread.
