Salam All
I have on my workstation Windows Xp, and I would like to install RedHat Linux V9 in order to have dual boot.
I downloaded the ISO image of the Linux, un packed it using ISO buster.
Now, I have 3 questions:
1) How to create a bootable CD ROM for Linux? I would appreciate exact details. I use Nero for burnig my CDs.
2) How can I prepare a partion for Linux (using partition magic)
3) Finally , how to make my workstation gives me 2 options when I start it (Load Windows or RedHat)?
Thanks in Advance.

asalamu 3lekom,
1-u can just download ur distro iso images and write them using any cd writer program write them on cds and u must make ur system firstly boot from cdrom.
2-u just delete a driver in whiloe in installation choose "use free space"
3-During installation u choose ur boot loader either LILO or GRUB and choose what options u wanna see..

well , it seems that you are in your first steps in linux,
so well done for taking that step :-)
here we go
-there are three ISO images.
-you do not have to unpack them.
-making linux cds from ISO images with nero depends on your nero version .
- (nero 5.x) from file list -- file > burn image
- (nero 6.x) from record list -- record > burn image
- for installing linux , backup your important files .
- with partion magic resize your hard disk partions to get about 3.0GB , 5.0GB will be good .
-you must read about istalling your distribution before installing it
-through out the installation process you will get the answer for your 3rd question.
-i advice you to read this book (http://www.daif.net/linux/ar/index.html)
-ask one question per thread .
-search the forum before you ask.
-good luck :-)
peace be upon you

Salamo 3alaikom,
Dear asker, Please read the Redhat documentation: Redhat installation guide. It is quite simple and answers all the questions you asked for.
PS: Still with Redhat Linux product turning to project you can read that documentation.

i belive that you have got answers to all what you need to know but i want to gave you just a little tip , that you can install from the iso images with out up packing or buring it to cd's and that what i recomend when installing a new destro
do this by obtaining the rawrite.exe or rawrite for windows (recomended) to creat a boot floppy disk form the image called boot.img (both files should be it the 1st iso cd at the /boot and /dosutils folders) then use the boot disk to boot your machie then supply the setup program with the path to your iso files on your hard disk (remeber the pathes in linux uses / not \ linke /linuxfolder/linuxsubfolder/file.iso)
and the mentioned befor try to consault the linux documentation for any farther detials
