who needs an IDE when we have emacs

Me , I need an IDE, if you want to debug,make GUI's with glade .. etc , you may need an ide, the good thing it's about 2.MB

to oneofone : why did you try both and then decide or you use kdev and it was powerfull and use it ?
I don't like QT,KDE apps it need more and more memory and they look good but they are not effecinet , & buggy.
I'll try anhuta and tell you.

i tried anjuta and didn't like it, on the other hand i just hate gtk+.
if you want something like VS.NET, kdev is the closest thing you'd ever get on linux.
ps: if you gonna get kdev, get the latest beta since it's pretty stable.
