is there a software that make my pc receive AM/FM radio staions ,

or i have to install new hardware to do so .

I think your hardware must be having this feature in order to get a software to work with from the beginning. Does your hardware support this feature? freshmeat, sourceforge and other OS software supporters are your way to go.

ofcourse you have to have a hardware that suppots that can your radio fry chicken or your oven play audio cds

sorry for that

but i can direct you anyway there's some TV reciever cards and other Dish recieve rcards that support this feature i don't know about the compatibility with linux but they exist the TV card is available in the market here in egypt

also some sound cards expensive ones have this feature

Well it was a no-name... nothing famous. Sorry I can't remember the name exactly but (IF) I go there soon I promise I'll post its name..

but that won't be soon coz I've got exams now...
