why dont we allow image tags ? Server strain ?

I am a bit against more smileys, IMO they are similar to the infamous <BLINK> HTML tag.

Well, I am happy to see this thread on the forum.

Discussing grave matters such as freedom of expression by smiley must mean that we have finally attained that divine state where there are no more problems left with linux; everything works fine, everything is clear, and no one needs anything explained for them.

We must be the first LUG in the world to have solved all linux-reated problems in existence this fast.

Now, down finally to some serious business: we need smileys with different ethnicities. Those smileys we have are obviously Chinese - they are after all yellow.

I think, just so no one calls us racially biased, we need white smileys, black smileys, red smileys, and hot-pink smileys (for the alexandrians of course).

Oh yes, and we also need new smiley faces expressing the various states of emotional despair, ranging from the `help-I-have-been-frozen-in-a-block-of-carbonite' smiley face to the more obscure but still useful `flame-me-again-and-I-shall-packet-your-great-uncle' smiley.

Just my twenty cents ($0.2).

well what is good about linux is fun ( you learn , work , and do things the way you want to do ....)


so i think solving problems with emotion icons that can express anger is much better than solving them with the current emotion icons that makes you angry.............
