i was thinking that we can make a new section for collecting small material about linux for newbie - like our articles sections but this one with uploaded files from users -

i already have some small pdfs and i saw some with safrout

and i`m sure all of us have small things and small hints that could be very useful

so think about it

can we make a section for uploding screen shots ??:D

u know this attract alot of ppl when they see polished desktops working with the programs they need

i know it will take some space but nothign better than showing ppl the linux - nothing better than the visual effect :) -

imagine it with screen shots of arabic writing programs and with our own taste backgrounds ....how this would affect new comers ??

I totally agree. That's exactly the same thing I was thinking of.
A section where the most FAQ and some tutorials are included would help newbies getting used to linux faster without always asking the same questions like which modem works, wine, ...etc.
I would really like to see such section here in linux-egypt.

May be a nice idea, let us think about it.

Uploading files !!!
Sure you have got those files from some site, you can put the link here directly.
We don't have much space to waste in files that are already on the internet.
