how can I use my LAN network like windows

in windows 98
it was so easy to click "My Network Places"then you will find your other PCs
so how can I do that in linux

u mean to c windows shares from Linux or to open ur other linux boxes from ur current linux machine

all I want to do is share
the files between ( Linux PC and Windows PC )
I have 2 PCs
one is windows the other is Linux
and I don't how to share ( Files , printer and internet connection ) on linux
