AL salam Alaikum,
Do anybody know how to play MP3 in RH8 since I tried the XMMS and tried to install mpg123 but it gives error message when runing it "COUDLN't FIND PROGRAM MPEG123"

is there any good MP3 program you advice?

redhat doesn't support mp3.
you need to download xmms's mp3 plugin from http://www.xmms.org/ or just download it and compile it yourself or try another distro.
