Job opportunity:



Linux system administrator is needed for a web hosting company in United Arab Emirates.



Qualifications:

B.Sc, preferably in computer science, IT or accounting

Experience in linux, MySql administration

Knowledge of windows

A linux certificate(s) shall be a plus



Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for a number of online linux-based web servers.

He will also handle a number of windows servers dedicated to web-based chat systems.

He should be able to handle a small cluster serving one website, which includes the web servers, database replication, shared files and remote syncing.

Customer support and some account management tasks

According to the job nature he might be under call 24/7
