I just gave linux CDs to somone and he told me that he contacted 5 from the list and no body replyed to him

on the other had it is clear that linux-egypt`s voice is being more loud :)

more ppl ask about linux everyday
and alot of ppl ask to call if they needed help yet once i point them to the articles section - usually at the 1st call - they r happy and it seems to solve all their problems

4 or 5 times per week i get a request for redhat 9 CDs
My reply is I don't distribute redhat.
I really donno, I am really sick, I have all the distros. i'm welling to distribute beside my name in the article and there is No redhat, what am i supposed to do!!

i think the best way to get linux cds
is from ppl willing to sell linux cds

i got my first linux cd set

redhat 7.3 , from a library close to aim-shams engineering uni or something like that

my second cd set from zahaby , debian

of course i knew about both source from this website

so i would recommend to leave linux distribution
to ppl that sell em

ofcourse anyone can sill help his close friends with his own cds

but i do see it's a pain , and it's not like there is not anyone selling the cds !!!

i make somthing like a ping email every month to check who is active and who is not and the last time i removed about 9 members cos they didn't reply

plz anyone here who contact a member on the list and doesn't get a reply in few dasy plz tell me in a PM so i can contact him and see if he still active or not

I really think that the most appropriate thing and the most non-embarassing approach is to distribute Linux distributions via real vendors. Yet we should specify to them that those distributions should not be sold in a high price. This way the OS will be much better distributed.
