وكلها عملت لها حرق من خلال عدت برامج لكن لما أعمل لها أختبار السيدي يقول لي فشل وعندما أحاول أن أقوم بتركيبها تعطيني هذه الرساله

أنا لا أتوقع في طريقة النسخ لان أتبعت أكثر من شرح وهي ليست صعبه والنسخ مو معقول الاثنتين غير سليمه

Make sure ur ISOs' MD5SUM is okay.
Also I dnt want to look obvious but I c that ur dnloading the DVD one; r u sure u use a DVD media/recorder when u burn? If not then u should dnload the non-DVD version.

I had the same problem with both the CD image and the DVD image.

and what bothers me most is that the sha1sums are correct as noted on the official site.

I have sent many letters to both Red Hat and Fedora telling them about the problem.

If not then u should dnload the non-DVD version.As noted, many have made copies of the FC-5 Iso Images. but to no avail. I myself have burned the image 5 times using 5 diffrent medias and it is still the same result, the media fails the check and the same erroe message if I continue, despite the fact that all the info I got matches the one posted over the FC-5 site.

Paste here the contents of ur SHA1SUM file that came with the ISOs.

Here is the sha1sum that came in the file:

and here is the sha1sum I generated on my PC:

So what could be wrong:

I am using FC4 with K3b to burn a DVD ISO Image on a 4.7 GB DVD Imation media

If ur sure the device is okay then either change the media or change k3b.

i had the same problem and i overcome it by installing the FC5 from the hard drive using the /linux askmethod option its work ok i think there is a problem in iso image when it burn to the cd or dvd so don`t try to brn use hard drive installion method

I think that there were some mirrors with bad images, I then downloaded the image from RedHat and burned the DVD, and all worked OK.
Or you can order the DVD from cheapbytes in the UK which they sell for under 10 GBP, and save your time and Bandwidth for more important things

I had no problems downloading and burning the FC5 cds (I downloaded the first two only)

I even burned a rewritable DVD, and it all worked OK.
The problem we were discussing here is that there might be a problem with the FC5 DVD image that we downloaded from the internet.

Mine did not work, so I ordered a DVD from a reseller in the UK.
