Despite that it is old information to me ya Sefro, I think this site is extremely helpful for those who need to tweak their modems to get the maximum speed allowed on Dialup connection. Thanks to God I stopped using Dialup.

I think you still need it Habdin don't you use PPPoE or what ?

how easy was it to configure the DSL, how did the ISP cooperate.

I use 512 for the MRU

My ISP doens't need PPPoE to connect to the service. I could tweak the interface of the ethernet card and add MRU to it as I need. By the way, using a modem router with my connection eased things up to me. Thanks to God.
