We're excited to announce that Gentoo Linux has been announced as a finalist for the Best Open Source project at LinuxWorld Conference and Expo's Product Excellence Awards. The other finalists include products from KDE, Sun Microsystems and RealNetworks. Final judging will take place on Wednesday, January 21st, with the winner being announced that afternoon.
