hiz all...

this report is about two things...

the first ... is that my modem ... doesn'y work automaicly ...
evry time i log in i have to

hsfconfig ............at first to make modem ready ... as if i didn't do this

kppp will give me a message says .. unable to open modem...

how can i solve this ...... i don't want to hsfconfig every time i want to
log onto net ...

the second thing is ... redhat-config-network

it doesn't work .. i made the gebug report here it is ---

1. add hsfconfig to your local startup script(/etc/conf.d/local.start in gentoo, check for something close on your system).
2. python and redhat's new config utils just plain suck..

i just did a little search, the file you need is called rc.local (/etc/rc.d/rc.local).
