could any one till me how to manage suse9 services in text mode??
i know how to do that by Yast tool, but i want to know how in text mode!!!

I think that the same tool has a TUI u can use but dnt remember the name maybe its yast2 or yast Im not sure

Are there any documentation for SuSE 9? May be you try to see if you have got chkconfig as a text tool. I don't really know if it is present for Suse 9 or not. Is Suse 9 rpm-based or not?
