Hi all

I have the following problem

I have installed RedHat 7.3 and I did not find both the CD and the floppy icons on my desktop. So I have to mount it each time I login.

How may I have these icons on my desktop? I used to click on the icon, and voila !!! the cd is mounted and I can have all its contents in a window that opens itself automatically when I insert the cd. What should I do. I also used to unmount it with a right click and then choosing unmount from the menu.

Help me please.

click on desktop by the right button, choose new -> cdrom device
and be sure that the mounting point is /mnt/cdrom!
