i was wondering if older linux users can help us the begginers with a thread that makes us understand more the abbreviations that most of the newbies does not know
like
destro >>i thought destroyed
winmodem >>is that a prize ;)
Gentoo + BSD >> that's a thread name

i think many of the users have other abbreviations that they wonder about :)
i mean everyone here is in for trading knowledge,right so
why don't we make a thread to define these abbrevations and makes life easier for the fresh starters
