Alaa and Anas were very brave indeed, and the officers were not aggressive. We said whatever we wanted to say, and nobody touched us at all. I think that's really good, and I think if we were in Syria, we would not have escaped so easily.

was it a PDA or a laptop? and how did the idiots approach you guys? What did the idiots tell you? were you caught on the embassy's surveillance cams? or it was just those ignorant bastards from the state security forces?

This is so strange, I haven't heard of such a situation at all!!

It got sorted it out, it just wasted a lot of our time..we couldnt really start the actual discussions till they came back.

Wherever these guys go: planes crash, trains stop, computers crash, security forces lose their control... that's the way it should be, mish kedda? Sow Chaos :)

Thanks to Alaa, who went into lots of pains to get this thing sorted (in addition to all what he did to make this meeting a success, which everyone is really grateful for), the thing was cleared with only a one hour delay (come on, thats not much! welcome to the Middle East, that won't even give you a Shihsa at Al Hussien!)

Lesson learned:

- Never walk in the street with an electronic device handing form your hands (Mobiles are tolerable, but not PDA's!).
