Hey... you don't know me. My name is Nazeeh. It was me and a friend of mine that wrote the very first article on Linux along with a copy of SuSE linux for 3lam El Computer magazine way back in 2000 or so... maybe earlier, I don't recall. It felt like such a lost battle, introducing Linux to Egypt for the first time ever! The magazine had a copy of SuSE 6.3 along with KDE 2.x. It was tough writing an article explaining how to install this "alien" OS.

You've come a long way :) good job. Nazeeh

hey... it's Nazeeh again. No, I am not that active (I still use Linux though). But I don't live in Egypt right now. I moved to USA a year ago.

But I am keeping an eye on your work! And it's going pretty well I see! I wish you guys existed back when there were only 2 of us trying to spread Linux around. Oh well... better late than never :)
