as far as I recall you are

as far as I recall you are right they didn't, but if you remind me of the exact date I can check again.

however if I would hazard a guess as to why it would be one of two explanations:

  1. kefaya does not consider this attack an invasion of national soil but rather see it as a terrorist act
  2. kefaya does not consider this attack an invasion of national soil but rather consider it a tragic event that happened in relation to complex border borders (I don't recall them making much of a fuss when it was the israelis who killed soldiers at the borders either).

to me there is no hypocrisy, supporting the palestinian cause does not nessecarily mean supporting Kata'eb Al Aqsa or supporting them in all their acts.

while most people I know where angry about this incident, angry in a way they kefaya and co failed to measure and respond to (if not capitalize on), no one I know or talked to considered it an attack on Egyptian soil as such.

whatever the position a demand for investigation and justice was in order, and kefaya failed to make that demand, kefaya probably failed to make similar demands on other issues that don't involve palestinians, I'd consider this more of a problem in their performance than a problem in their fundemental ideals.

however feel free to contact them and ask your question, they have an email, a forum and a headquarters you can visit, let's see if the email and forum will be good enough or if one must visit them in order to get an answer.
