To Everyone, Pleas read this: I know most of you prefer reading in Arabic (including myself) but forgive me I am bad Arabic typer plus I don’t have an Arabic keyboard. I am following the blogs not from so long. and I was shocked from what is happening in Egypt. I feel close to Malik, Sharkawi, Wa2el, karim and a lot of others, following their news on daily bases and for the first time I feel that there might be hope. BUT...... and big line under BUT...
I have a lot of friends In Egypt. And when i chat or email them asking .. are you following up with what’s happening in Egypt, did you see the bloggers, kefaya.. Did you see all this (wa7sheya) from the current system? Did you see these protests!!! i always get this answer!! What blogs!! What protests!! Who are those you are talking about!!. These friends are highly educated, internet users, and belongs to the middle class and they love Egypt. But it seams that very very few people who are in awareness of your presence guys, not everybody saw your Aljazeera documentry. a lot of them have no idea about what is happening, most of the people in this kind country (beyegro wara lo2met 3eshhom) have a believe that (mafish fayda) the magical word that everybody keeps saying. My advice (and i have a marketing background) in order to let something happen. you have to let your voice reach the biggest amount of people. There are more that 1,500,000 unique internet users in Egypt. How many of them know about you guys. Some volunteer (and it is not me cause I am new to this) needs to make some email shots or circulate an email with a list of the most important blogs out there. With a good intro in Arabic educating people with what is happening... guide them how to be effective. This email should circulate marketing this efforts, inform people with what’s happening to people like Sharkawi. This is a very important tool and not less in the importance than the protests or any other portion of your movement. I hope somebody initiate this and please do not ignore my suggestion regards Egyptian from Canada
