The Danish cartoon - an American's view

To me, an American, the meaning of the Danish cartoon was obvious: fanatical Islam destroys itself! Just as if Mohammad had a bomb on his brain. And fanatical moslems proved it, by holding violent, foolish protests in which fellow Moslems DIED. There is nothing wrong with a cartoonist expressing any opinion he wants, even when his opinion is wrong. But for people to physically HURT others over it is wrong. And stupid. In the long run, all human beings will learn that we must have free speech. Surely Mohammad, like Jesus, wants people to come to him VOLUNTARILY, by their own willing choice, rather than by FORCE. Real Christians, like real Moslems, INVITE people, with words not force. But angry, violent, nasty people will never persuade anyone. Make sense?
